                       ECO-BRITE™ Electropolishing
Electro Polishing on Nitinol - An Effective Coating

ECO-BRITESM is a proprietary mass finishing system for electropolishing stainless steel parts. This new technology allows the fast, uniform
polishing of all exterior surfaces and
produces a brighter luster than other
methods. Directing low current, elec-trochemical energy evenly to the entire component surface results in a faster, more cost-effective polish that is not attainable through other processes.
ECO-BRITE Electropolishing
This process auto de-burrs and eliminates contact marks, corrosion-causing impurities, scratches and other imperfections from the metal part, leaving a highly polished, smooth and uniform appearance. ECO-BRITESM is environmentally safe, as all constituents of the electropolishing bath are recycled and nothing is discharged into the environment.

In addition, the increased presence of chromium oxide on the finished product reduces corrosion and creates a passivated, biologically safe metal surface. This is an important feature for medical device finishing.

Conventional electropolishing requires the manual racking and unracking of parts, adding to the time and cost of the process. These can be significant, especially when polishing large quantities of small, delicate parts. ECO-BRITESM allows bulk finishing in about one-third the time because machined metal parts are placed directly into an electro-polishing bath without racking. A proprietary
chemical mixture affects all metal surfaces evenly to produce a consistent result on all surfaces without regard to size, shape or quantity. In addition, contact areas are eliminated. The
ECO-BRITE electropolishing creates a uniform, high-luster surface on stainless steel
capacity of the bath tank allows mass finishing of up to several thousand pieces at once, depending on the size of the component.

APPLICATIONS
ECO-BRITESM is the appropriate electropolishing method for creating a uniform, high-luster surface on stainless steel components. This bulk-processing method is highly recommended for polishing small, delicate parts, especially those with biomedical applications.
