ENviro-Coat Meets ELV Directive

The Electrolizing Corporation of OHIO now offers a new, environmentally friendly process for bright electroless nickel plating without lead and cadmium.

Why Do Manufacturers Need an ENviro-Friendly Coating?

ENviro-Coat meets the requirements of the End-of-Life Vehicle Directive, which requires the elimination of lead, cadmium, and chrome from automobile parts and components.

Currently, European automakers must source metal finishing that meets the ELV requirements. American automobile manufacturers soon will adopt the ELV requirements. Other industries around the globe may soon need to reduce hazardous substances from their disposable products.
